Beberapa saat sebelum kick-off piala dunia dimulai, Electronic Arts (EA) secara resmi mengumumkan kehadiran game bola andalannya, FIFA 11. Ingin membuat para gamer betah memainkan game ini, FIFA berupaya membuat tiap-tiap karakter begitu 'hidup'.

Sedikit berbeda dengan penantangnya, PES 2011, yang telah melakukan perombakan besar pada berbagai elemen di dalam game. FIFA 11 justru menitik beratkan permainannya pada segi 'keaslian' pemain.

'Keaslian' yang dimaksud bakal dituangkan pada fitur baru bertajuk Personality+. Melalui fitur tersebut, gamer akan dapat melihat keunikan dari masing-masing karakter yang tengah dimainkan ketika sedang bertanding.

"Personality+ merupakan sebuah evolusi untuk setiap individu dalam permainan sepakbola," ujar Kaz Makita Executive Producer untuk FIFA 11.
Makita juga menganggap, fitur yang telah ia benamkan di FIFA 11 merupakan yang paling canggih di kelasnya, "Engine game kami merupakan yang paling canggih, di mana setiap karakter dalam FIFA 11 bakal tampil seperti tokoh aslinya," pungkasnya.

FIFA 11, dijadwalkan bakal segera dirilis pada penghujung tahun ini untuk PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PC, DS dan PSP.
